Surfing Talent
Top
international and regional professional surfers, as
well as the top East Coast amateur surfers, will be
battling it out for the largest cash purse ever offered
at this year's Belmar event.
For
2008, SRH will be doing demonstrations with the Grinch,
an incredible tow system which launches surfers resulting
in incredible airs. The music area and tent city will
also be in place with the latest gear for sale. There
will be live music on both Saturday and Sunday by Barry
& the Penetrators, Scott Kirby, Predator Dub Assassins
and Re-Form. Global Surf Industries will be doing surfboard
demos and clinics throughout the event. In addition,
they are bringing several of the most prominent shapers
in the world today: Bob McTavish, Steve Wlden and Greg
Webber who will be on hand to discuss surfboard design.
